We only stayed for a night because we were passing through, but I would have stayed here longer had our itinerary allowed it. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, the rooms were cozy with amazing views of the sea, and the breakfast was everything we needed to start our day well. Thank you to the lovely staff!
We stayed for 4 nights and loved it. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The restaurant was excellent. The haggis mac & cheese and steak & ale pie were delicious. The staff are warm and welcoming. It was a great location for us to explore Skye.
Redwood House hotel is located in a remote place in natural surroundings. The rooms are basic, but comfortable. What stands out is the outstanding level of service and very helpful staff members. They make you feel at home, away from home. Their food is delicious.
Very nice room, good location albeit a bit far from everything. Excellent food. Friendly staff. The level of service however is not completely in line with the price we paid (500€ per night)
My husband and I stayed for two nights and its been our favourite stay during our honeymoon. Peaceful and beautiful location with a great view from the dining area. John and Annette are extremely friendly and treat you like family. Food was delicious during dinner and breakfast. Fantastic music too! Room was spacious and clean, recently renovated. Highly recommend if you're staying in Isle of Skye!
Loved staying at this cute B&B. Highlights being the comfy room, great parking, and easy check-in. The location to the B&B is a little out of the way from the main cities which was a plus. I loved being by the water which was fun to see out of my room when heavy rain came along. I recommend following the B&B's suggestion to drive in during daylight hours. To get there, you have to drive a one track road with lots of sheep on it for a bit which can be scary at night when you might not be familar with the area. I drove in before sunset and felt very comfortable.
We stayed at Redwood House in early May. The road into Redwood House was a challenge but once we got there we were pleasantly surprised. The house was spacious and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The meals at the restaurant were very good, we ate there all 3 nights and there was plenty to choose from. The staff were friendly and very helpful and a special shout out to Laurence, he was extremely knowledgeable regarding the food and drink on offer, a genuinely nice guy. He was always available to help us out. The facility was so peaceful and picturesque with a certain charm that we certainly got used to. We loved it and want to go back.
We had a peaceful and comfortable 3 night stay at the end of July. The hotel is quiet and tucked away down a 2-mile narrow road with lots of potholes and sheep. We stayed in cottage 3 which has a living space and bathroom downstairs with the bedroom upstairs. The food at the restaurant was ok. There aren’t many options nearby so it’s nice to have however there are better places to eat (Old School House). The continental breakfast buffet was also underwhelming. The price for both the room and restaurant were very high compared to the experience.
